Company and Beme brand launched in China
Halal Certified
Both the restaurant and the central kitchen achieved Halal certification, ensuring that all operations and food offerings meet the highest standards of Halal practices.

Entered Thailand with own brand

International expansion: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam
Focused on import/export and OEM production
Partnered with 10–15 department stores: Isetan, OG, Metro, Robinson
2009
Entered Singapore via Takashimaya. Initially declined due to preference for local brands. One week later, allowed space, stock, newspaper advertising; featured shoes in catalogs. Initial location: staircase corner; products sold over $200 per pair

Expanded to Vietnam; men’s shoe department launched
